Spectacular pair of Gothic-style lions in Royal Yellow Marble, used as church candlesticks, worked and sculpted entirely by hand, and obtained from a single block of marble, the lion is not glued to the base but is part of the same structure. Particular for the type of marble, as one can clearly see the veining is extraordinary as is the colour. Lot of magnificent and high artistic and historical value, of remarkable quality and workmanship. An object more unique than rare, especially given its not excessive dimensions. They can be used as ornaments or even as candlesticks. Of great value is the marble, which has a truly fantastic and elegant grain. Worthy of note is the precision and attention to detail of the lions, sculpted with skill and professionalism. A truly suggestive and masculine figure, it conveys ardour and firmness.
